Cycling Photography – Through The Lens Of Camille McMillan

Film

Camille McMillan’s work is instantly recognisable. Over the years he has taken us to little known places in the world of cycling, building up a unique portfolio that includes, perhaps most famously, a collaborative book with former pro Michael Barry, Le Metier.

We hear how he turned to cycling photography having moved away from racing himself, and how the buzz of shooting from a motorbike within the peloton replaced the excitement of racing himself.

McMillan also divulges some of the secrets of his work. The thoughts and processes that go into creating his personal style. Sadly, there is no explanation of the french horn.
